I envied her, because I was stuck in hideous Mothercare stretch navy trousers and even when I was not pregnant there was nothing in G's wardrobe that I could
But today I made a very exciting discovery. His best winter coat, which is ridiculously warm and cosy because it is made from organic goosefeather or something, not only fits me perfectly but also looks rather good!
And it's blooming cold here again, so I'm pleased I made this discovery. Now I've just got to persuade G not to wear it himself. And unfortunately I might have a battle on my hands with that, because he does love a good, warm coat and has even been known to wear this one in June ...
It looks great! Isn't it hard to s"borrow" things? You'd think they wuld be flattered. All I get is ....well I don't wear your stuff do I? Probably just as well...
ReplyDeleteI steal all my husband's fleeces. I cannot stand the feel of a fleece that fits me!
ReplyDeletelooking good Missis, really suits you. I have a goosedown gilet that is amazingly snuggly and warm, I live in it when it's cold outside. I like your hat too!
ReplyDeleteGah. Thin husbands. I hate them. All you can borrow is their bl**dy gloves.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I borrowed my husband's jeans when I was pregnant and have also been known to borrow jumpers, socks and coats too! (He gets very cross about it, bless him!)
ReplyDeleteI borrowed J's fave jumper, and spilt bleach on it. many years ago. I have still not been forgiven. so just be careful with the fave coat, which does look great btw, yes it's freezing again isn't it!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby's skinnier than me too. Pah.
ReplyDeleteMy other half's like a whippet. No swapsies at all at my place.
ReplyDeleteYou look great in that coat.
Cute coat, looks like you're ready for another trek to Switzerland soon!!
