Warm hands

Earlier this week, I ran for the first time in my winter running top.  I love the thumb hole so much and came back home wondering why manufacturers and knitters don't make thumb holes in every single garment.  It makes the top so much more cosy to wear.

And then yesterday I remembered my armwarmers, which also have thumb holes.  There's now no need to hack at my clothes, or spend the winter in running gear.  Problem solved.

  1. They're lovely Nancy, did you make them? They look a bit beyond my (minimal) knitting skills; I'm thinking circular needles and all sorts of trickiness. And many ends to be sewn in. I'm not good at ends.

  3. I am wearing the scarf that matches those arm warmers this very minute! Love the mutlicolouredness!

My son's winter coat has inner cuffs with thumbholes, which is possibly the most exciting thing that has ever happened to him.
