Life is good again

The chickens are happy, plump and laying once more.

There are green shoots and buds popping up all over the garden.

And there is apple & cinnamon slice to have with my morning coffee.

  1. Oh yum, where's the recipe then?!! Lovely spring shots, and glad you got your daffs sorted too! Very pretty jug as well, I might add! Is a parcel of books in post this afternoon for you (just hoping they aren't ones you sent me...)xxx

  3. Yes - there's quite a lot of 'hen-orabilia' around our house!

  4. Love the hens - mine are on a roll with the laying. They each lay one a day, even though it's winter.

  5. Is that a geranium bud?? If so it is indecently early and may need nurturing through February.

  7. Alice C, well spotted - it is a geranium bud. And the weird thing is I seem to be able to grow geraniums right through the winter - I've got some that are 5 years old now! I don't think it ever really gets cold enough in the middle of London to harm them.
