- Nine people listening to music on headphones.
- A young woman doing card tricks with her paper train tickets.
- Her boyfriend, wearing very white trainers, anxiously telling her to be careful with the tickets.
- A jolly, portly man wearing a grey, hand-knitted tank top, offering sections of his Saturday newspaper to those sitting around him.
- A woman with immaculately painted pink toenails, wearing hareem pants and white sandals.
- A man with white hair and black gloves, distressed to find himself on the wrong train at Liverpool Street
- A blushing young man, wearing a blue dog-tooth checked shirt, rummaging in his jacket pocket and then dropping a lip balm and a selection of multi-coloured foil-wrapped condoms all over the floor.
- A middle-aged woman checking her hair, and pulling out a few white ones.

I love people watching. Poor condom guy - guess he wasn't getting lucky!
ReplyDeleteOh this made me giggle! I love people watching! Especially in the post office queue! This week I was treated to a complete random singing Mull Of Kintyre over & over! He was really lost in the moment! Highly entertaining! :o) x
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is newspaper guy. How splendid to share your newspaper with strangers. Very civilised indeed.x
ReplyDeleteFascinating... hmmm harem pants not many look good in those lol - I want to be jolly mans friend!!
ReplyDeleteI love people watching! But I'm concerned about Mr White-hair...I hope he found the right train!
ReplyDeleteWonderful post - isn't people watching fabulous. Did a bit last night when we saw a very popular opera which brought all kinds of fascinating types out of the woodwork! Like tall, hip young guy trying to be confident about his choice to wear a black tank top to opening night at the opera, and ordering two stouts in very quick succession at the bar.
ReplyDeleteI am blushing in sympathy with condom man!
ReplyDeleteLovely post! Can "see" every single one. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI don't remember the tube train journey being so entertaining when I used to commute! Poor red faced boy!
